KDoctor Text Messages (SMS)

KDoctor is a telehealth platform operated by GLOBALWORKS INVESTMENTS LLC, 7345 W Sand Lake Road, Ste 210, Office 4436, Orlando, FL 32819, USA. Medical practices that use KDoctor can send text messages (SMS) to their patients about their care.

What we send

Appointment notifications: booking confirmations, changes and cancellations
Teleconsultation links to join a video visit
Requests to complete a pre-visit health assessment

We do not send marketing or promotional messages.

How you opt in

Your practitioner asks you, in person or by phone, whether you agree to receive text messages from KDoctor about your care. Only if you agree, the practitioner records your consent in the consent section of your KDoctor patient record ("Record verbal consent" → "Text messages (SMS) about care") and signs the record with their password. The record keeps the date and time, the practitioner who recorded it and the consent text you agreed to:

"I agree to receive text messages (SMS) from KDoctor (GLOBALWORKS INVESTMENTS LLC) about my care: appointment notifications (booking confirmations, changes and cancellations), teleconsultation links and requests to complete a pre-visit health assessment. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of receiving care."

Text messages are sent only to patients whose consent is recorded this way. Consent is optional and is not a condition of receiving care.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected]. You can also ask your practitioner to withdraw your consent at any time.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy
